On the heels of the aborted JMT hike, Merry and I packed the Subaru for a week long cruise through Vermont and the northern Adirondacks.  We stayed one night at the Inn on the Long Trail.  Tented a couple of nights at the Rutland music festival and “gathering” of AT hikers.  We took a short hike up near Adirondack Loj one day.  Dramatic weather over the high peaks – and what appears to be a killer thunderstorm right over Killington.
